Background

Rotec were appointed to provide the steel door packages on the Manchester Institute of Health and Performance, the East Manchester Leisure Centre and Connell Sixthform College – all of which are part of the Etihad Campus; an area of Manchester which is primarily owned and operated by Manchester City Football Club.

The Manchester Institute of Health and Performance (MIHP) provides state-of-the-art facilities for all aspects of health and performance, with a range professionals on site including researchers and health professionals who support the local sports community through diagnosis, education and research.

Connell Sixthform College offers a broad range of higher education courses designed to give students the best route into their chosen career paths.

East Manchester Leisure Centre provides a range of exercise facilities, including two swimming pools and a fitness suite. In addition to use by the general public, it is often used by the Sports Science students of Connell Sixthform College as part of their educational programme.

Our Solution

The Manchester Institute of Health and Performance required a non-standard louvered door to accommodate a cylindrical ventilation pipe. To meet the project requirements, Rotec commissioned a bespoke production line to fabricate the Louvre independently, demonstrating our commitment to going above and beyond to meet client expectations.

Several SR2 security doors were installed throughout the Sixth form College and East Manchester Leisure Centre.
