Background

Concorde is the show-stopping centrepiece of the Aerospace Museum. The last of its kind to be built, it now resides in a modern, hangar-style building. Visitors are invited to step aboard the impressive aeroplane to marvel at its luxurious interior and view the cockpit controls.

Aerospace Bristol tells the incredible story of over 100 years of aviation achievements. The building is home to a variety of historical aircrafts, as well as a 200-seat lecture theatre and learning facilities for local schools.

Solutions

Our team worked with Kier to supply and install a steel door package that was compliant with the specifications of the build including varied security requirements.

Careful consideration was taken to ensure a seamless fit of our doors for the purpose-built Concorde  hangar. Additionally, we facilitated the replacement of existing doors to align with the conservation of the historical hangar 16S which underwent significant upgrades.
