Background and experience
I left school and went straight into a Customer Service role, which was a great way to dive into the business world and learn quickly. By getting exposure to different departments along the way, I developed a broader understanding of how a business runs, which I’ve taken forward into my current role.
How did you end up working as a Executive Assistant?
It was always a role that appealed to me so when the opportunity came up at Rotec, I took the jump.
Key accomplishments and contributions in your current role.
I’ve really enjoyed being involved in taking ideas and helping shape them into something more structured and actionable, then seeing how that translates into real progress across the team.
What does your day-to-day look like?
No two days are the same, the task list is varied to say the least. From playing calendar Tetris and juggling priorities, to organising events, powering through the inbox and enduring the BD team’s never-ending ‘dad’ jokes — it’s a bit of everything.
How long have you been with Rotec?
A year and a half, honestly don’t know where that time has gone!
What do you enjoy most about working for Rotec?
The pace! There’s nothing stagnant about Rotec — fast-moving and constantly evolving for the better, both individually and as a team.
