LPS 2081 Security Steel Door
Our fully certified LPS 2081 security-rated steel doors offer a durable solution that doesn’t compromise on architectural vision. Our communal entrance doors are the perfect solution for residential and commercial projects such as contemporary apartment buildings, hotel lobbies, shop fronts and more. The premium glazed panels bring in natural light, creating a welcoming and warm entrance space.
Rotec steel doors are more sustainable and offer better fire and security protection than aluminium doors. Aluminium doors are limited to a PAS24 security rating, as they require less time and simpler tools to break into than steel doors.
This innovation has achieved BRE certification to LPS 1175: 2081, with tests carried using such items as kit claw hammers, drills, hacksaws, pliers, screwdrivers, and other manual tools to ensure that the LPS 2081 door meets the specified time protection requirements of 3 minutes of continual attack.
Extensive testing has demonstrated the durability of these doors and has been further recognised by the Secured by Design initiative, which is the police’s preferred specification.
