Background

Lombard Square is a major regeneration scheme in Plumstead, creating a new residential-led neighbourhood with homes, commercial space, public realm improvements and supporting infrastructure.

On a phased development of this scale, the door package needed more than supply and install. It needed early coordination, buildable specifications and a clear quality process that helped Berkeley keep work moving on site.

Our Solution

Rotec worked closely with Berkeley from the design stage to make sure the door specifications for each block were practical, compliant and aligned with the client’s requirements.

The scope included the supply and installation of ancillary doors across key back-of-house areas, including bike stores, bin stores and plant rooms, with louvred, solid and vision panel door sets selected to suit each location.

Rotec also supplied and installed fully glazed and maximum-size vision panel doors for podiums and external walkways, helping maintain visibility, access and finish quality across high-traffic areas.

The result was a smoother installation process, clearer accountability and a door package delivered with the level of control expected on a complex, multi-phase development.
