Background
In the vibrant Royal Docks, the Gallions Quarter Phase 2 site is undergoing an impressive transformation. The upcoming 6-storey building will house 1324 S Affordable rent and Shared ownership homes, featuring amenities such as a concierge, landscaped courtyards, and electric vehicle charging. The second, 11 story building will house a further 143 Build to Rent homes and will incorporate all the features of the first building but with an additional resident’s lounge and gym facility. Both buildings have a focus on energy and cost efficiency, these homes boast an impressive EPC B rating.
Our Solution
Rotec successfully delivered a comprehensive solution for the project. We provided and installed 31 security-rated external doors, incorporating both fire-rated and non-fire-rated options. These steel doors offer a mid-level of security, ensuring resistance against sophisticated attempts of forced entry. Additionally, 34 wall vents were seamlessly integrated. Throughout the process, Rotec closely collaborated with Telford Homes to meet the project’s specific requirements while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
